BPCA Membership
The following criteria had to be met to reach BPCA membership:
- The business must have been actively trading in pest control for a minimum of one year.
- The business must carry at least £2 million public and product liability insurance and, where necessary, at least £10 million employer’s liability insurance.
- All fully trained technicians hold a recognised industry qualification approved by the BPCA.
- All new employees or candidates for promotion within the business that will, within the course of their duties, attend the premises of the member’s clients are subject to background checks by way of a Criminal Records Bureau Standard Disclosure
- Pest control work that involves the application of pesticides must not be sub-contacted to non-members.
- Recording systems must meet the requirements of COSHH and ensure traceability of pest control measures applied.
- Storage facilities must meet the standards advised by HSE.
- Vehicles must be dedicated for the purpose of transporting pesticides and must meet defined standards in terms of design and equipment.
- The officers of the business must not be undisclosed bankrupts.
All applicants must undertake to abide by the requirements of the BPCA Codes of Practice and Code of Conduct.

We are members of the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) (Membership number: M15/898), East Sussex Buy With Confidence scheme (BWC) (Membership number: 200), Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA), National Britannia Safecontractor accreditation scheme (Membership number:N00078532), Newhaven Chambers of Commerce and the International Pest Control Operators Network.
You are able to contact us everyday including Sundays and bank holidays. Normal working hours are 8am to 5pm with a further technician working from 5pm to 8pm to cover the evening calls throughout the summer season. Calls are answered 24hr's, seven days per week. We offer 24hr callouts if required between 6pm - 8am (surcharge applies).
